The Director of the ATTP is Bobbi Taylor. She is a graduate of Meredith College where she majored in Home Economics and Elementary Education. After teaching for ten years in counties surrounding Winston-Salem, she attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she earned her Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling. She then served the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools for eleven years as a guidance counselor. After that, she authored and co-produced a video-based parenting program and spent the next ten years "on the road" marketing the program, conducting workshops, and presenting keynote addresses on education and parenting. She came to Appalachian after returning to the classroom for five additional years. She is married and the mother of two young men in their twenties. She is delighted to help you make your dream of becoming a teacher come true.
