Terri Cochrane is a Lateral Entry Business and Marketing teacher at Gaston County High School in Gastonia, NC. She comments, "The ATTP Program helped me tremendously in making the life-changing decision to become a teacher. It took me from the business world and prepared me to be an effective teacher in the classroom. Every class was relevant and the professors were amazing."

Jenny Weaver is a Lateral Entry Teacher at Granite Falls Middle School. She shared, "I wanted to become a teacher, but with three children, I had to have something that was convenient for me. Working through the ATTP allowed me to go back and I loved it. Being in an adult learning situation was wonderful. The courses were taught by full professors who were very supportive . My advisor was there at the beginning and there at the end. If I were to call her today, I know she'll be there for me. I love teaching. I have found my calling."

Amanda Cooper is a member of one of the full-time/day-time elementary education cohorts at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.
